The following obituary was published in the Wichita Falls Times and Record News, February 1, 2010.
HENRIETTA — Travis Neal McClure, 81, of Wichita Falls died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Hospice Center in Wichita Falls.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mike Priddy officiating. Burial will be in the Bluegrove (Texas) Cemetery under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.
Mr. McClure was a route salesman for August Pies and worked for Parker’s Grocery in management. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Survivors include wife, Patsy of Wichita Falls; daughter, Judy Sloan of Flower Mound, Texas; two sons, Tim of Wichita Falls, and Jeff of Stamford, Texas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Wanda Anderson of Stamford, Texas.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
